To inhale the breath of an angel...
To inhale the centuries of happiness... Centuries of lust... Centuries of sorrow... Centuries of ruthlessness... Centuries of belief and disbelief... Centuries of birth and death... The smell of a small town ashore the mighty ocean, just after sunset... The smell of dust, salt, burnt wood... The smell of the air, filled with the distant murmurs of giant trees, sleeping in the lazy wind... The smell of the cool blue mist of the early morning upon one thousand lost islands inside the heart of a lover... The light reflecting from flooded emerald eyes looking far far away... The wise affection of a grandmother towards her grandchildren... The sorrowful look of an angel, down towards Mankind... The scene of peach flowers... Under dense clouds... Filled with the might, if not the beams of The Sun... Their wide open yet invisible wings... * * * To inhale the breath of a thousand peach flowers... To exhale the filth of a thousand years of "civilization"... Angels and Demons in the perfect tiny sphere we call "Earth"... Are not the ones which you think you can distinguish clearly... ...Look around... Look for the angelique... ...And think again... * * * Idris Can * * * Comments
Thank you, Aisling
And you have a wonderful name, I loved it To pronounce it, feels like the waves of the open sea.. I've used your shots, with your permission (for anyone else reading this), at church, and they love your photography... as I do.
